Bonjour!
Now that the announcement was made that school will remain closed for the rest of the school year, DPSCD would like to make sure that all students are logging on to Microsoft Teams. Click here for instructions on how to access Microsoft Teams. (Thank you to Ms. Schwendemann for putting it together!) Once our "Spring Break" is over, teachers will be using Teams to help students finish the school year. More information for that will come as the district gives us more instructions.
All of the Unit 3 resources on the French 1 page are posted on the Class Materials page of Teams.
Please Check Teams for future assignments after Spring Break.
Make sure you read Dr. Vitti's letter to students and parents, which answers a lot of questions about the shutdown. Also, check the district's COVID-19 webpage for important updates regarding grab-n-go breakfasts and lunches, academic work, and resources.
Please contact me or a BCHS administrator if you or any other DPSCD student you know has trouble accessing online content. The district is working to provide a device and internet access to families in need.
Stay safe and healthy!

Wondering what to do with French during the school closure?
- Review the information in your unit packets to make sure you remember the vocabulary/expressions and language structures.
- Work on this PROJECT if you want to use your French during the closure. You will definitely earn credit for the work you do as this is something you would have done when we return to school anyway. This project reviews all of the current vocabulary we had been using in Unit 3.
- Please also check PowerSchool to see if you have any missing assignments that you can make up. I posted the worksheets and readings of assignments on the French 1 page. You don't need to print the worksheet...you can write the answers on a sheet of paper and send me a picture or type the answers in an email to me.
- Download Duolingo to your phone and work through the French program.
- Check out your favorite streaming service for some French shows or see if your favorite shows have an option for a French language track. Here are some suggestions on Netflix.
